Mesilla Valley MPO

The Mesilla Valley MPO is pleased to announce that the Governing Board has adopted new Bylaws.

The MPO Bylaws define many aspects of the MPO’s operating structure. Among other things, the Bylaws create the two advisory committees. Of note, these Bylaws change the name of the Mesilla Valley MPO Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Advisory Committee to the Mesilla Valley MPO Active Transportation Advisory Committee.

The Mesilla Valley MPO’s Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) is a biennial statement of the tasks to be performed by MPO Staff during the stated time period. Additionally, the UPWP contains the budget information for the MPO.

The MPO Governing Board adopted the FFY 2027-2028 UPWP at the June 10, 2026 meeting.
