The Mesilla Valley MPO’s Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) is a biennial statement of the tasks to be performed by MPO Staff during the stated time period. Additionally, the UPWP contains the budget information for the MPO.
The MPO is in the process of developing the Federal Fiscal Years 2027-2028 UPWP and the public comment period for this pending UPWP update is now open.
The current draft of the UPWP may be reviewed at this link.
The public may comment on the UPWP by contacting MPO Staff directly, or by attending one of the following meetings where the UPWP will be discussed:
April 21, 2026 – BPAC
May 7, 2026 – TAC
May 13, 2026 – Governing Board
May 19, 2026 – BPAC
June 4, 2026 – TAC
June 10, 2026 – Governing Board, scheduled for action

Mesilla Valley MPO 2025 Safety Report
The MPO is pleased to announced that it has completed the 2025 Safety Report.
The Safety Report contains data and analysis of safety data from the Mesilla Valley MPO Planning Area for calendar year 2023, which is the most recent reporting year.
