Third Quarter Federal Fiscal Year 2023 Draft TIP Amendments

The Mesilla Valley MPO maintains a priority listing of transportation projects. This list, known as the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) provides a four year, prioritized and financially constrained list of federal and state funded transportation projects for the MPO area.
The TIP can be amended on a quarterly basis every year.
The draft tip for the Third Quarter of Federal Fiscal Year 2023 is ready for public review.

TL00140 2023 RoadRUNNER Transit Rolling Stock Section 5359 Rolling Stock FFY2023 is amended to adjust for Funding Formula increasing from $184,708 to $264,850 This will have no effect on the Performance Measures
TL00150 2023 RoadRUNNER Transit Software Upgrades Additional Software FFY2022 is increasing from $281,404 to $397,200 This will have no effect on the Performance Measures
TL00100 2022 -2027 RoadRUNNER Transit Operating Section Operations Lower the amount of FTA 5307 from $1,211,854 to $1,045,411

Add In fund for Small Transit Intensive Cites at $400,000 per year for FFY 2022 – 2027 adding new funding source for ARPA grant for 6.4 million

This will have no effect on the Performance Measures
TL00130 2022 Maintenance and Operations Center RoadRUNNER Transit Maintenance and Operations Center Increase in Budget based on recently announced FY2022 5307 and 5339 formula apportionments increase from 2 million to 6.8 million This will have no effect on the Performance Measures

MPO Staff intends to bring this draft TIP before the Policy Board for consideration at their May 11 meeting.
