The New Mexico Department of Transportation has opened a onetime call for projects along the Interstate 10 and Interstate 40 Corridors. The Call for Projects is open to all transportation-related projects along the Interstate 10 Corridor. Please see the “I-10 and I-40 call for project” letter for qualifying projects and the requirements for the application package.
Please have all project applications delivered to the Mesilla Valley MPO TIP Coordinator Dominic Loya by e-mail email@example.com at the close of the business day on Friday October 7, 2022.
After receiving the applications, the Mesilla Valley MPO will review the applications and schedule a meeting between the applicant and NMDOT District 1 for a review of the application and to have the Project Feasibility Form signed. The applicants will then present to the two Mesilla Valley MPO advisory committees and the Policy Board. The first presentation will be at the Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Advisory Committee (BPAC) for recommendation on Tuesday October 18th, 2022, at 5:00 pm. The second will be at the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for recommendation on Thursday November 3rd, 2022, at 4:00 pm. The final presentation will be to the Mesilla Valley MPO Policy Board for approval on November 9th, 2022, at 1:00 pm. All approved projects will then be forwarded to NMDOT for consideration before the final deadline of Friday, November 18th, 2022.
