The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration, NMDOT, and Las Calerita Construction, LLC, are holding a ‘Public Meeting’ Thursday, December 5, 2019 – 6 p.m. at the NM Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum, 4100 Dripping Springs Road, Las Cruces.
The public meeting will review the I-25/University project final design, provide information about the construction plan and phasing, and discuss traffic impacts during Phase 1 of construction. The public will also be able to ask questions in person at the meeting, or via the project’s website or social media.

Project Overview: Construction on this $33.2 million project will begin in January 2020 and last for about 18 months – through summer 2021. The project includes the following improvements:
New University Bridge over I-25
New exit ramp from southbound I-25 directly to NMSU beneath University Avenue and new entrance ramp from NMSU to southbound I-25
Triviz underpass under University Avenue with roundabouts
Continuation of the multi-use Triviz trail to the new NMSU trail system
